Niagara Falls is one of the most prominent natural wonders in the world. Located on the border between the United States and Canada, it’s a stunning display of imposing waterfalls, scenic beauty, and a range of exciting activities. If you're planning a trip to Niagara Falls, discover Société’s travel guide to help you make the most of your visit:

Best Time to Visit

The best time to visit Niagara Falls is during the summer months (June to August) when the weather is pleasant and the falls are at their fullest. However, this is also the peak tourist season, so expect larger crowds. Spring (April to May) and fall (September to October) offer fewer crowds and cooler temperatures, while winter (November to March) provides a unique frozen landscape but limited attractions.

Getting There

Niagara Falls can be accessed from both the American and Canadian sides. The nearest airports are Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF) in New York, USA, and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) in Ontario, Canada. From there, you can rent a car, take a taxi, or use public transportation to reach the falls.

Exploring the Falls

Start your visit with the main attraction, the waterfalls themselves. There are three falls: the Horseshoe Falls (Canadian side), the American Falls (American side), and the Bridal Veil Falls (American side). You can enjoy stunning views from several vantage points, including the Niagara Falls State Park (USA) and Queen Victoria Park (Canada).
